Bothy : Combined Ticket - Bothy Tasting & Glamis Castle Guided Tour

About the Ticket Enjoy a day out in the historic village of Glamis with a tasting at The Bothy Experience and a guided tour of Glamis Castle, all for a discounted price. This exclusive combined ticket includes a Classic Gin Bothy Tasting at The Bothy Experience, featuring four seasonal gins and liqueurs, and a guided tour of Glamis Castle, as well as admission to the castle's gardens and grounds. This ticket is for Adults only, due to age restriction for the gin tasting (Ages 18 years +). The gin tasting date and time MUST be booked online at the time of the Combined Ticket purchase. The Glamis Castle tour does NOT require advance booking. On the day you wish to visit, simply show your 'Combined Ticket' confirmation at the castle ticket office for guided tour and grounds admission. Visitors do not need to visit the castle on the same day as the gin tasting, however please note the ticket is valid for one castle admission on or before 14th December 2025. **Glamis Castle is open 7 days a week until 31st October and 4 days a week (Thursday to Sunday) from 1st November - 14th December. Please note: due to the historic nature of the castle, there is no lift and there are many stone steps to negotiate on the tour. Prices are subject to a booking fee. What's included Enjoy a Classic Gin Bothy Tasting at The Bothy Experience Tastings are available Thursday - Sunday at 12.00pm and 3.00pm (subject to availability). ✨ Classic Gin Bothy Tasting: The tasting will take place in one of the cosy and rustic bothy rooms. Delight in four seasonal gins and liqueurs. Our gin tasting selection will change with the seasons as follows: 🎄 20th Nov - 31st December - Festive Punch served with either Sloe liqueur or Gingerbread liqueur, Original gin, Merry Berry liqueur and Gunshot gin. ✨ Seasonal Serves: Your drinks are paired with mixers, ice, and garnish to create the perfect seasonal serve. Each gin serve is 2.5cl. ✨ Expert Guidance: Our knowledgeable Bothy Experience Team will be there to warmly welcome you, answer any questions, and ensure a truly magical tasting experience. The tasting may also include a video presentation to further enhance your visit. 🧀🍇 Sharing Platters: Enhance your experience with our Scottish Savoury and Sweet Sharing Platter, featuring a selection of our own Bothy treats (additional charge). 🚗 Abstainers Are Welcome! If you're a driver or non-drinker, you can still join in the fun with hot and cold and soft drinks or a mocktail 🍹. Drivers/non-drinkers will also receive one 5cl mini Gin Bothy bottle and a mixer to take home to enjoy or gift. Please include abstainers in your group numbers when booking. ⏳ The tasting lasts approximately 60 minutes, with an additional 30 minutes for guests to chat and finish their food and drinks. We recommend 2 hours in total for the visit to include time to visit our exhibition rooms and Larder shop. 🐾Assistance dogs are welcome in our tasting rooms. Explore the rich history of Glamis Castle Enjoy a guided Tour of Glamis Castle (inclusive of Gardens & Grounds Admission) **Available 7 days a week from 19th March - 31st October and Thursday - Sunday from 1st November - 14th December 2025. 🏰Glamis Castle has been the ancestral seat to the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne since 1372, the inspiration for Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the childhood home of HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, and the birthplace of HRH The Princess Margaret. 👑Visitors will follow in the footsteps of Mary, Queen of Scots, James V, Bonnie Dundee, the Old Jacobite Pretender to the throne, James VIII, the ill-fated Janet Douglas and of course, tell the story of the bitter-sweet life of Mary Eleanor Bowes. 📅 2025 opening days and times: 7 days a week until 31st October, 10.00am–5.00pm (last tour at 4.30pm). Thursday to Sunday, 1st November - 14th December, 10.00am - 4.00pm (last tour at 3.30pm). Restrictions The Bothy Experience Gin tastings are for adults only, aged 18 + years. With the exception of assistance dogs, all other dogs are not permitted in our tasting rooms, but they are welcome in all other public areas. No smoking or vaping is allowed in any indoor space.
