For the whisky lover looking to explore our signature DRAAM recepie! Nestled behind our local village, Inverarish, lives our dunnage cask maturation warehouse. Surrounded by an abundance of premium oak casks from around the world, you will be able to enjoy an exclusive tasting of the Isle of Raasay peated and unpeated Na Sia (‘The Six’ in Scottish Gaelic) spirit, drawn straight from the casks infront of you. Our signature cask line up includes rye whiskey, virgin Chinkapin oak and Bordeaux red wine. These Na Sia recipe casks are allowed to mature as individuals for the full three years before marrying together to form our Signature Single Malt Scottish Whisky, ensuring a depth of flavour balance that makes our young spirit so distinct. This specially curated tour will take you on a journey through our whole production operation, giving you a real behind the scenes experience and showcase the passion and history that make Isle of Raasay so special. The experience will include our production area, bottling and vatting warehouse and cask filling room, before being accompanied to the dunnage warehouse to deep dive into each cask and a tasting of 6 x 15ml cask strength whiskies. Each individual will also receive a gift bag of Isle of Raasay goodies to takeaway with them. Duration: 120 - 160 minutes Capacity: 8 guests per session, age 18+ only Available: Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week at 11:00. The first legal distillery on the Isle of Raasay in the North West Scotland began distilling in September 2017. It is our vision to create the finest Hebridean Single Malt Scotch Whisky and a unique whisky destination with arguably the best view of any distillery in Scotland. Enjoy a guided whisky tasting tour through the distillery and into the tasting room where you’ll be offered a complementary dram of Raasay While We Wait single malt; representative of what’s to come from our casks in the future, as well as special R&B Distillers whiskies. All of our distillery tours are perfectly timed to coincide with the ferry so you can easily plan your arrival and departure from the island.
